As Northwood enters a new era in its proud athletic history, it is the perfect time to reinvest in Timberwolf Pride and sustained success.

The When We Are Free campaign seeks a stronger vision for the future of Timberwolf sports through expanded scholarship offerings, enhanced endowed support for coaching and program operations, and upgraded facilities.

These are the things that great college athletic programs do to maintain their success. These are the features that attract the best coaches and athletes to campus. These are the actions that produce winners. Focusing on these areas will fund Northwood’s vision of sustained success for its varsity sports teams.

Coaching Endowment

The increasingly competitive world of college sports includes intense competition for the best coaching talent. Coaching endowments will provide the resources to attract that talent to Northwood. 

Facilities

Facilities must adapt to meet the needs of modern athletics, with an important focus on safety and performance.

New enhancements will play a major role in attracting coaches and athletes to campus, as well as in providing an enjoyable spectator experience for students, alumni, and other fans.

Athletic Scholarships

Athletic scholarship funding is currently at 73% of what is allowed by the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Raising that figure to 100% can be accomplished through the establishment of endowed athletic scholarships that provide sustained funding.
